Exhibition Program 2008

From October 21 to 25, 2008, numerous world premieres and new developments await you at our booth in Hall 11 at the Euroblech exhibition. In all areas, from punching, combination processing and bending, laser cutting and welding, you can experience innovations that will make your operations even more productive. One of the highlights there is the new TruMatic 7000, the high-end system from TRUMPF.

TruBend 5230 with BendMaster
The new BendMaster can handle loads of up to 150 kg without a whimper. It recognizes the position of the part automatically and is fitted with time-tested axial motion concepts and sensors — but it is laid out to handle parts twice as heavy.
The new BendMaster is ideal for customers who work with medium and large components. The new model offers increased machine up-time and, especially for night shifts, relief from monotonous and energy-intensive labor.

TruBend Series 7000
In the development of the TruBend Series 7000, focus was placed on productivity and ergonomics. The operator can work sitting down and without getting overly tired. The foot rests and arm rests can be individually adjusted. The monitor of the control system can be adjusted electrically and set at the required angle. A laser diode marks the bending line, making it very easy to guide the workpiece accurately into the backgauge. The backgauge and ram are another area where the design engineers of the TruBend Series 7000 have also come up with new ideas to speed things up – visitors at our trade show booth will be able to try this out in person.

TruServices - Integrated tool management
The integrated tool management is the answer to almost all questions that are raised in conjunction with punching tools: Are the necessary tools available? And where are they? What is the length of the punch? Which components have to be assembled? Clear identification of the tools and simple work devices such as hand scanners and touchscreens can provide for greater clarity in future.

TruPunch 5000 with active die
The active die enables scratch-free punching and forming at an unrivaled speed. When you position the sheet metal, the die moves down so that it cannot touch the sheet. It also prevents the risk of the sheet from getting caught in the die during the positioning process.
With the active die you expand the forming options of your TruPunch 5000. Higher upward forming can be actively performed in the sheet.

TruMatic 7000
As a high-end system from TRUMPF, the TruMatic 7000 offers speed that has never been seen before in combination processing. Such speed is possible because – among other things – the machine has been built with flying optics for the first time. With additional axes in the X and Y direction, the laser cutting head can travel a good distance and can be positioned quickly. A high processing speed develops as a result of the interaction of the main axes. This high speed is particularly noticeable when detailed parts with complex contours are processed. In addition, a newly constructed laser flap considerably shortens part removal time.

Power Tools
Slat cleaner TSC: Cleaning single-handedly

With an optional handle for one-man operation, we are launching a further development of our bestseller. Thanks to the specially designed articulated rod, one operator can clean the slats all by himself. This makes slat cleaning even more economical.
Another innovation is our new, energy efficient Li-Ion battery technology. These tools, without power cables, are distinguished by a much longer operating time, higher power, temperature insensitivity and are free of memory effects.

TruLaser Cell 7040 NEW
In terms of productivity, the latest generation of the TruLaser Cell Series 7000 sets new standards in the area of 5-axis laser processing. A host of new features and improved details make production even faster – not only in the time it takes to fabricate the first part but also in the part processing time in serial production. Experience new control features like the 3D graphic editor for quick online program optimization or further refined cutting strategies at this year's Euroblech.

TruLaser 5030 with 7 kilowatt laser and LiftMaster compact
The CO2 laser TruFlow 7000 further boosting the processing flexibility. In the future, users will be able to cut up to 30 mm thick stainless steel parts and aluminum 20 mm thick. Also, the TruLaser Series 5000 has the 7 kilowatt laser to thank for the considerable increases in feed rates compared to the previously highest laser output of 6 kW – up to 40 percent for aluminum and up to 60 percent for stainless steel.
During Euroblech, TRUMPF will launch the TruLaser 5030 with a new automation option – the LiftMaster Compact. As the name implies, this is a very compact system to install and facilitates fully automated machine operation.

TruLaser 3030 NEW
Equipped with a 5 kilowatt CO2 laser for sheet thicknesses up to 25 mm, the TruLaser 3030 NEW has assumed a pioneering role in its sector when it comes to productivity and processing flexibility. In addition, the FastLine process, now a standard feature, reduces the processing time by an average of 20 percent. Moreover, the need to change cutting heads has been eliminated as the TruLaser 3030 NEW uses the single head cutting strategy for all sheet thicknesses. Another highlight is the transverse installation of the pallet changer which not only saves times but also cuts walking distances.

TruLaser 7040 NEW
Two cutting heads, 6 kW disk laser with beam splitting and a cross member made of race car tested carbon fiber (CFK) – the TruLaser 7040 NEW is the most productive laser cutting machine in the world. Its place in the broad TRUMPF laser machine portfolio is clearly defined. It is the high-speed machine for large run production, particularly in the area of thin sheet

TruLaser Robot 5020
Flexible and economical – even for small batches. Designed for welding tasks, yet flexibly extendable for cutting and laser cladding. When implemented as part of a TRUMPF LaserNetwork, this turn-key solution with TruDisk lasers doubles production capacity at only marginally higher investment costs. Discover and experience live the flexibility of this system at this year's Euroblech!
